Suluban Cliff Bali sits on a dramatic limestone promontory in Pecatu, on Bali's southern Bukit Peninsula — one of the island's most coveted coastal addresses. The property occupies 1,500 square metres of clifftop land, with 500 square metres of thoughtfully designed living space set entirely above the sea.
Four ocean-facing bedroom suites, each bearing the name of the forces that shape this coastline — Ocean Master, Sunset, Wave, Coral — form the private world of the villa. Accommodating up to twelve guests, Suluban Cliff Bali is reserved exclusively for a single party at a time. No other guests. No shared spaces. The entire property, yours.
Uluwatu, Bali's spiritual south
Positioned at the end of Pantai Suluban Street in Pecatu, the villa commands views across Suluban Beach to the west-facing horizon — the same waters that draw surfers from around the world to the breaks at Padang-Padang and Uluwatu. On clear mornings, the volcanic silhouettes of Mount Agung and Batukaru are visible to the north.
Ngurah Rai International Airport is twenty-five minutes away. The ancient sea temple of Uluwatu, perched on its own cliff above the water, is a five-minute drive. The world's most consistent surf breaks are within walking distance.
Architecture in conversation with landscape
The three-level infinity pool is the centrepiece of the villa — an interconnected series of reflective surfaces that seem to dissolve into the horizon. The open-plan living area, with its floor-to-ceiling glass doors, frames the ocean like a painting. The elevated Lounge Bale offers uninterrupted sightlines from sea to sky.
Every decision — the orientation of each suite, the position of the pool, the placement of the Lounge Bale — was made in service of the view.
